Causes of Diaper Rash

  • Most common cause of diaper rash is Irritation by Urine and stool
  • There are other reasons as well : Irritation from eating New Foods and the Kid has sensitive skin

What not to do?

  • Do not use baby powder or talc
  • Do not share baby oil, creams and ointments with other children

Home Remedy to Prevent Diaper Rash (Tested by Me on both my kids)

  • Most Powerful way to prevent Diaper Rash is to change your baby’s diaper often.
  • When you change your baby’s diaper, wash her bottom with soft cloth and water or good quality unscented wipe.
  • Apply some Coconut Oil   to protect and lubricate the area after each diaper change.   Coconut Oil has natural antibacterial properties and helps keeping skin lubricated.

How to treat Diaper Rash?

  • If your baby develops rash, do not panic.
  • When you change your baby’s diaper, wash her bottom with soft cloth and water or good quality unscented wipe.
  • Apply some Coconut Oil   to protect and lubricate the area after each diaper change. 
  • If possible, keep diaper off for short periods. This will help healing the rash faster. Keeping Diaper off for short period is a real quick healer.

When to call or see a doctor?

  • If the rash  has pus or discharge.
  • If the rash does not start diminishing ion an hour or start spreading or getting worse.
